Mission Statement
David’s Place & Stacey’s Way, Inc., a not-for-profit human services organization, is a source of information, referrals and guidance for the underserved and disabled population. David’s Place & Stacey’s Way, Inc. advocates on behalf of individuals whose needs are not being met by the resources available to them.
David’s Place & Stacey’s Way, Inc. empowers the disabled by providing the tools they need to access the services available to them. We help the underserved population by connecting them with organizations and people who can help solve the problems they are facing.
David’s Place & Stacey’s Way, Inc is a source of expertise in the following areas.
- Education – The right to satisfactory public education for all individuals, including academic and vocational programs for adults.
- Employment – Knowledge of the available job readiness programs and how to gain access.
- Financial – Access to budgeting and government entitlement programs.
- Health – Referrals to out-patient care and assistance with medical insurance and fitness needs.
- Housing – Knowledge of tenant and homeowners’ rights.
- Legal – Referrals to legal aid.
- Political – Source of information for local community boards.
- Recreational – Access to social gatherings and networking opportunities.
- Transportation – Information concerning car services, voucher programs, ambulatory care and discount fare programs for the disabled and seniors.
